The cost to file is $100, due every two years.

Due Date

Reports are due by January 2nd of every other year. Timing is tied to when you submitted your Initial Report. For instance, if your Initial Report was filed on May 15, 2025, your Biennial Report must be filed by January 2, 2027, and then every two years after that.

Late Penalties

If your report isn’t filed by February 1st, a $37.50 late fee applies. Continued noncompliance can result in the state dissolving your LLC entirely.

Entity Number Requirement

To begin filing, you’ll need your Entity Number. You can find it by searching in the Alaska Division of Corporations’ database.

1. Visit the Alaska Division of Corporations Biennial Report page.
2. Enter your LLC’s Entity Number and click “File Online.”
3. Verify your mailing and physical address. Update if necessary.

4. Update member or manager information if needed.
5. Enter your name and phone number to confirm.
6. Review the auto-generated PDF to ensure accuracy.
7. Proceed to payment and submit your $100 filing.
8. Save your confirmation for records.
